How to Read and Use These Examples
SkatingStorage combines source-attributed results with original explanation so the data can be checked, interpreted, and used in the correct rules context.
What the Synchronized Twizzle Call Tells You
A protocol call such as SyTwW4+SyTwM4 records the level awarded to each partner's part of the synchronized-twizzle element. The W and M portions are separate technical calls joined into one scored element. That notation is useful, but it does not describe everything visible in the performance: two teams can receive the same level combination while showing different speed, spacing, unison, control, and musical clarity. Read the call as the technical-panel result, then use the GOE and video source to study how the execution was rewarded.
How These Examples Were Selected
This guide filters the public SkatingStorage archive to senior synchronized twizzles from the 2025-26 season. Only timestamps marked accepted or corrected are eligible. The list is ordered by recorded element score, with GOE and judge-average data used as secondary sorting signals when available, and is capped at twelve examples so every result can remain source-linked and reviewable. It is a curated study set, not a complete census of every senior event and not an official season ranking.
What to Watch in the Video
Start before the first rotation so the entry edge and approach are visible. Through the twizzles, watch whether both partners maintain a stable axis, preserve useful ice coverage, rotate with comparable rhythm, and manage the distance between them without obvious correction steps. Then watch the final rotation and exit: a strong element should continue into the program rather than look isolated from it. These observations help explain the protocol result, but they are study prompts rather than a replacement for the current technical feature and GOE tables.
Level and GOE Answer Different Questions
The level call reflects whether the technical requirements were credited. GOE is the judging panel's evaluation of the executed element, including positive qualities and errors under the applicable marking guide. A Level 4 plus Level 4 call therefore does not guarantee the highest score on this page, and a lower level combination can still be instructive when it shows clean rhythm or a well-managed exit. When comparing cards, keep the base value, GOE, total element score, and source performance together instead of treating one number as the whole assessment.
How to Compare Examples Responsibly
Use several examples rather than copying one team's visual shape. Camera angle, event production, program construction, partner height, and the entry or exit chosen for the choreography can all change what is easy to see. Open the cited source, confirm the timestamp, and compare the same phases of the element across teams: approach, first rotation, middle transition, final rotation, and exit. For training decisions, use the active season's official requirements and work with a qualified coach; this archive preserves evidence and context but does not prescribe technique.
Primary Rules Sources
Current planning should use the latest official documents. The archive cards retain the calls and scores published for their original events.
