Privacy Policy
You can browse SkatingStorage without creating an account. This page
explains what information may be collected when you use the archive,
favorites, reel builder, Skater or Coach Portal, iPhone app, Analyzer,
private training videos, premium checkout, notifications, contact
links, embedded videos, or support links.
Information We Collect
- Archive browsing does not require an account.
- If you save favorites without signing in, the saved element IDs are stored in your browser localStorage on that device.
- If you create an account, sign in, or request a password reset, Supabase receives your email address for authentication and stores your favorite element IDs for your account.
- If you sign in and upvote an element, Supabase stores your account ID, the element ID, and a timestamp so each account can vote once per element.
- If you build a reel without signing in, the draft reel title, selected element IDs, order, and element snapshots are stored in your browser localStorage on that device.
- If you sign in and create a shareable reel, Supabase stores the reel title, selected element IDs, order, visibility status, owner account ID, and created/updated timestamps.
- If you use the Skater or Coach Portal, Supabase stores the training records you submit or receive, which may include practice date, duration, effort, discipline, structured element calls and counts, notes, schedules, assignments, responses, coach/skater connection and consent state, and the account IDs needed to keep the website and iPhone app synchronized.
- For Enterprise accounts, SkatingStorage records coarse feature operations so the private owner team can monitor adoption and reliability. These records may include the organization and account identifiers, Enterprise role, a fixed feature and action key, success/error/blocked outcome, response status, processing duration, client surface, and timestamp. This telemetry does not include videos, audio, filenames, paths, searches, notes, messages, schedules, program content, or other customer-entered text.
- Enterprise feature-operation telemetry is kept for up to 120 days so the owner team can compare 7-, 30-, and 90-day operating windows.
- Private wellness check-ins are stored separately from normal practice records. They are not included in Training rhythm or Team pulse and are not exposed to a coach unless a separate, explicit sharing workflow says otherwise.
- If you use Premium training video storage, Supabase stores private uploaded video files, file metadata, folder labels, optional notes, and coach-share email addresses for the accounts you choose to share with.
- If you enable iPhone push notifications, Supabase stores your account ID, an app-generated device identifier, the Apple Push Notification service token and environment, notification preferences, and registration timestamps. Practice and wellness reminders that are labeled as local are scheduled on that iPhone and do not require uploading the reminder contents.
- If you purchase a membership on the website, Stripe receives the payment and billing details you provide. SkatingStorage stores subscription status, Stripe customer/subscription IDs, and the Supabase account ID needed to unlock access.
- If you purchase or restore a membership in the iPhone app, Apple processes the payment and provides signed App Store transaction information. SkatingStorage stores the product ID, original and latest transaction IDs, purchase and renewal status and dates, an app-account token matching your Supabase account ID, and the signed transaction needed to verify and synchronize access. SkatingStorage does not receive your full App Store payment details.
- For signed-in product operations, SkatingStorage may store your account ID, effective plan category, a fixed feature and action category, success, error, or blocked outcome, status code, coarse duration, client surface, and timestamp. This operational telemetry does not include videos, audio, filenames, paths, searches, notes, messages, schedules, program content, URLs, or free-form metadata and is retained for up to 120 days.
- Public reel pages are visible to anyone with the share link and display the reel title plus the selected elements in order.
- If Analyzer or Element Benchmark uses Cloud analysis, only the submitted or trimmed working clip is placed in private temporary storage for the analysis worker. Temporary uploaded clips are deleted after the job completes or reaches a terminal failure. If immediate deletion is interrupted, the copy is scheduled for deletion within 24 hours; an infrastructure outage may delay that cleanup. The result and job-status record remain available for polling for up to 24 hours and are then scheduled for deletion. Clips you explicitly save to My Videos follow your normal private-video retention instead. Analyzer clips are never added to the public archive.
- In the iPhone app, Camera Roll, Files, and recorded Analyzer clips are processed on the device by default. Compact Analyzer history may retain the selected mode, evidence quality, tools, marked range, and coaching summary on that iPhone without retaining the source clip. A clip leaves the device only when you explicitly use an online analysis, saved-video, or sharing feature.
- If you email a correction report or source concern, your email address and the contents of your message are received by the SkatingStorage contact inbox.
- Google Analytics may collect usage information such as pages visited, device/browser details, approximate location, and referral information to help understand site traffic.
- Hosting providers may process standard technical logs, such as request time, IP address, browser information, and requested page, to operate and secure the site.
How We Use Information
- To let you save and filter favorite elements.
- To sync favorites across devices if you choose to sign in.
- To count fan upvotes and display aggregate top-voted elements.
- To let you create, save, edit, delete, and share element reels.
- To let Premium accounts store private training clips, organize them into folders, and share selected videos with coach accounts.
- To synchronize skater practices, structured element logs, coach-published schedules, assignments, accepted coach/skater connections, and explicit sharing choices across the website and iPhone app.
- To monitor aggregate Enterprise and non-Enterprise feature adoption separately, diagnose failed product operations, and verify service reliability without entering customer workspaces or collecting customer content in telemetry.
- To send the notification categories you enable to the correct signed-in iPhone and remove that device registration when you sign out.
- To generate an Element Benchmark estimate from temporary video processing and archive comparisons.
- To unlock the corresponding membership features after a verified Stripe or App Store purchase, renewal, restore, refund, expiration, or subscription-status update.
- To review correction reports, source concerns, or general feedback you send.
- To understand aggregate site usage and improve the archive experience.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website.

SkatingStorage does not receive your account password.
- Apple provides iPhone distribution, in-app subscription billing and restore services, Camera Roll and camera permission controls, local notifications, and the Apple Push Notification service. Apple may process the account, transaction, device, and delivery information needed to provide those services.

Your Choices
- You can browse without signing in.
- You can keep favorites local to one browser by not signing in.
- You can skip fan voting, or remove your vote by clicking the upvote control again while signed in.
- You can build a draft reel locally without signing in, but saving or sharing a reel requires sign-in.
- You can delete private training videos from My Videos and remove coach access from a shared video.
- You can decide whether an accepted coach may see each practice, revoke a coach/skater connection, and turn each notification or local reminder category off in iPhone Settings inside the app.
- You can delete your signed-in account from the iPhone app by opening Profile and Settings, choosing Delete account and data, entering the signed-in email, and confirming permanent deletion. The deletion workflow cancels a Stripe-managed Skating Storage subscription when applicable, removes private uploaded files and account-linked records, revokes refresh sessions on all signed-in devices, deletes the sign-in account last, and clears private Analyzer history and pending Portal changes from that iPhone. An App Store subscription is managed by Apple and is not canceled by deleting a Skating Storage account or the app; cancel it separately through Manage Subscriptions in the app or your Apple Account settings before deleting the account if you do not want it to renew. App Store transaction records may be detached from the deleted login and retained when needed for billing integrity, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or other legal obligations. Supabase access tokens are short-lived and may remain technically valid until their encoded expiry, but deleted account content is no longer retained for them to access. If safe cleanup or session revocation cannot finish, the sign-in account is not deleted and the app shows an error.
- You can remove local favorites by clearing site data in your browser.
- You can delete saved reels from the My Reels page.
- You can also request help with deletion of synced favorites, fan votes, saved reels, Portal records, or private training video records by contacting contactskatingstorage@gmail.com.
- You can use browser settings or extensions to limit third-party cookies, personalized ads, embedded video tracking, or other third-party requests.
- You can choose not to open YouTube embeds, Buy Me a Coffee, or other third-party links.
